About Bonwits.
An independent guide to the well-kept house.
Bonwits covers the things a house is set with: the table, the glassware, the linens, the pots and knives, and the business of having people over. We write about objects made well enough to keep for decades, and we try to say plainly which ones are worth the money.
Every guide names a small number of things. It says what each costs, where it is made, how long it should last, what the catch is, and who should buy something else. We would rather recommend four good things than forty.
Who we are.
Bonwits is written by a small editorial team and published by Theory Road LLC. We are not a store and we do not hold inventory. We do not accept payment for placement, and brands cannot buy a recommendation.
How we make money.
